Here's what took place at the 'Yoga in a baloon igloo' event!

It was a special event to say the least. The first-of-its-kind experiential yoga marathon themed ‘Yoga in a balloon igloo’, which was held at Glo Damansara by Malaysian sportswear brand, Ultron was a huge success.

Hosted by yoga enthusiast Daphne Iking, the event saw over 200 yoga lovers coming together in the unique 5- hour yoga marathon on 30 July 2017. It featured International yoga master and Ultron brand ambassador, Patrick Nolfo. The event also featured other well known local yoga instructors including Angeline Ong, Isabella Hii, Stephanie Hii and Shin Yee Lim, each with their own respective classes.

The highlight was, of course, the balloon igloo which was 18 meters in diameter and 3.8 meters in height, constructed using a recycled hot-air balloon. There were also talks by consultant clinical psychologist Paul Jambunathan and clinical neurophysiologist and hypnotherapist Dr Sumon MSH. Jambunathan talked about overall wellness, while Dr Sumon focused on depression, and how you can use chocolate to combat it.

There was also healthy food demonstration by Berjaya University College of Hospitality students. Using Australian oranges, the students created a salad and orange parfait. The event ended with an acroyoga session with yoga instructor Patrick Nolfo from Switzerland.
