Ever rolled your eyes while listening to a celeb say "I eat whatever I want and hate to exercise"? Well, you won’t be rolling them at Fay Hokulani, who puts up no pretense about how much work it takes to look the way she does. Here, the Singaporean blogger and fitness aficionado of Chinese and Indonesian Peranakan heritage dishes on fitness, food and how she stays famously sexy!
WORK IT OUT! "Fitness is my number one priority; no matter how busy I am, I always make time to exercise. It is just like how we make time to shower every morning! I think of it as an essential part of my day and then it becomes harder to find excuses to miss it," she says. A typical workout for Fay: "I do cardio and resistance training five days a week for 45-60 minutes. My usual workout session usually starts with high-intensity interval training to get my heart rate up and then weights or resistance training to build lean muscle. For cardio, I love a mean Muay Thai session with a personal trainer or 30 minutes on either the treadmill or elliptical machine."
