Another place to shop! Sports Direct Malaysia has launched its new 5-storey flagship superstore in Bukit Bintang. The store concept, differs slightly from the other Malaysian outlets as it will soon stage fitness classes on the rooftop level, where customers will be able to participate.
1.Big retail space
With a retail space of 26,000 square feet, Sports Direct’s big box store model offers a wide selection of global brands in sportswear, footwear and sports equipment. To make it easier for shoppers, the store is zoned by key sports categories.
2. The zones
The Boot Room is for football needs while the SheRunsHeRuns zone is for running gear. Fitness & Fight focuses on fitness and cross training products, gym equipments, and those for boxing, martial arts and yoga. The Racket Centre is for all racket games including table tennis while the Swim Shop is for water sport gear. For outdoor, hiking, trekking and camping equipments, head over to the Field & Trek zone. The Game Room has everything from table games to darts. The Big Action zone is for bikers and skaters while the Team Sports zone covers the basketball and rugby area. The other zones are the Men Sports Lifestyle, Women Sports Lifestyle and Kids Sports Lifestyle.
3. More to offer
Sports Direct is also available online at Lazada, with forthcoming plans to launch SportsDirect.com proprietary e-commerce site. The company is also working towards strategically grow their business in South East Asia, using Malaysia as the regional hub. Sports Direct currently has 28 stores.
